History

The Good Samaritan is a Voluntary, Non- Governmental, Non- Politic, Non-profit making Christian Organization. The Society can function anywhere in India. The Society was formed in 1998 and Registered with Government of Andhra Pradesh in 2004 ( Act 35 of 2001, Society Regd. No: 322 of 2004). The Society was Founded by Mr. Joshva Daniel and his family members. He had a great zeal to help for needy people with Love and the Word of God.

The Five-field re-construction model incorporating Gospel, Literacy, Livelihood, Health and Leadership Development serves as the basis for the work of the Society. As the Societies of this type are rare in this area and this Society formed the Some of the objectives as follows

To preach the Gospel both outreach and Church Planting in the Rural , Urban and Tribal areas where there is no Gospel.
To Promote social, economic, health, agriculture , technical training culture and educational development activities in the Rural, Urban, and Tribal areas.
To Maintain Educational Institutions in Rural , Urban and Tribal areas.
To uplift Children who are leading their lives miserable conditions, and fulfill the dreams of the children who are not in the healthy conditions to fulfill them.
To establish Bible Colleges and Ministry work among Youth and Children.
To improve minimum facilities to women and Child Labor and needy people.
To help Old-age , Physically Handicapped who left without any kind of help.
To help widows rehabilitation and homes maintained.
To built Orphanages and hostels.
To run hospitals , dispensaries, mobile medical services for the promotion of good health conditions.
To take up disaster relief programs and reconstruction of rehabilitation schemes.
To take up all other programs in view to develop the social and economic conditions irrespective of religion, race , caste , creed and color.
Some of our Establishments:
Since 1998 we established 18 new Churches and 11 other Churches joined with the Good Samaritan.
We started in 1997-98 a School in Dhone, Kurnool District ( Bethel Institutions) with 170 students with the help of Pastor Jaya Rao’ s family. Still working greatly by God’s grace.
Trained many Pastors and Gospel workers with Summer training camps.
Helping many Poor and Orphans.
Built the Good Samaritan Colony of 36 houses in 2003 in Karumanupalli Village with the help of AP Govenrment.
